Lawson Projects was retained in 2017 to serve as the Owner’s Rep and provide project management oversight on multiple projects.
Completed in 2010 for J.D. Hill Investments, Atlantic Avenue Art Block is a precedence-setting LEED® Silver building located in Calgary on 9th Ave SE. The building incorporates the Esker Foundation’s 1,000 m2 (10,760 sq. ft.) public art gallery on the fourth floor.
Lawson Projects provided Project Management services for the Client, Canterra Energy Ltd., working through the chosen Prime Consultant to improve and modernize the base building layout and life/safety systems. The project included office/work space, computer center, executive floor and cafeteria comprising 37,900 m2 (408,000 sq ft) over 22 floors. The value of the leasehold development was $13 million.
Lawson Projects successfully delivered the multi-floor Tenant Improvement Project in the 1990’s for Canadian Hunter’s new location in Calgary.
The project consisted of upgrading of all fire / life safety, security and building control systems within the three Calgary downtown office towers of Sun Life Plaza and within the two Sun Life office buildings at Deerfoot Business Centre.
Construction of a 1000m covered pedestrian walkway for the City of Calgary on the existing +15 Level bridge over 6th St. S.W., Calgary, and the continuing enclosure and connection of all adjacent buildings along this axis from 6th Street to 7th Street SW.
Lawson Projects successfully delivered the multi-floor new head office Tenant Improvement Project in the 1990’s for Centra Gas in downtown Victoria.
Lawson Projects was retained by Reidbuilt Homes in mid-2015 to deliver the turnkey project using a Construction Management contract strategy.
