Medicine Tree Manor Seniors Residence, High River, AB
Medicine Tree Manor, a senior’s residence constructed in the early 1960’s, was heavily damaged during the 2013 spring flooding in southern Alberta. Lawson Projects was retained by Westwinds Communities (formerly Foothills Foundation) to manage the restoration work.
In Lawson Projects managed the expansion of Shawnessy Lodge in SW Calgary. The facility is operated by Silvera for Senior, who required a new wing to care for their Alzheimer patients.
The 4-storey seniors housing facility completed in 2010 for Silvera for Seniors (formerly MCF Housing for Seniors) in Calgary’s Bridgeland community provides a mix of 150 self-contained one and two-bedroom suites, along with common-area amenities.
