In early 2021, Dream Industrial REIT engaged Lawson Projects to assist them with their plans to modernize the building exteriors of their Glenmore Industrial Park properties. A consistent look for all their properties creates brand recognition and will assist in the leasing and marketing of the district.
Atlantic Avenue Art Block, Calgary, AB
Completed in 2010 for J.D. Hill Investments, Atlantic Avenue Art Block is a precedence-setting LEED® Silver building located in Calgary on 9th Ave SE. The building incorporates the Esker Foundation's 1,000 m2 (10,760 sq. ft.) public art gallery on the fourth floor. The total floor plate of 17,000 m2 ( 183,000 sq. ft.) includes two levels of underground parking; 3,000 m2 (32,300 sq. ft.) of retail outlets on the main level; and 9,000 m2 (96,900 sq. ft.) of office space over three stories. |
Altalink, Alberta
Lawson Projects was retained in 2017 to serve as the Owner’s Representative and provide project management oversight on multiple projects, including the build-to-suit project for Altalink’s relocated offices in Lethbridge, which was completed in early 2018, and a design-build Service Centre in Janet, which was completed late 2019. The new building in Lethbridge is a 52,000 sq. ft. building. The Service Centre in Janet is a 6968 m2 (75,000 sq. ft.) building on 10.88 acres of land.
Devon Tower, Calgary, AB
Lawson Projects provided Project Management services for the Client, Canterra Energy Ltd., working through the chosen Prime Consultant to improve and modernize the base building layout and life/safety systems of the Devon Tower. The project included office/work space, a computer center, an executive floor and a cafeteria, all comprising of 37,900 m2 (408,000 sq ft) over 22 floors.
Lawson Projects was retained to represent Canterra’s interests during the development of base-building specifications and to manage the design, planning and construction of Canterra’s 22 floor leasehold development. Canterra was acquired by Husky Oil when the project was 95% complete, under budget and on schedule and the project was completed by Husky Oil. |
Reid Worldwide Professional Building, Calgary, AB
Located at 7136, 11th Street NE, Calgary, the 3-storey concrete structure, with 2 levels of underground parking, was completed on schedule and within budget in mid-2017. The building is 5,440 m2 (58,556 sf) GFA with a 2nd floor roof deck overlooking the Cityscape and Rocky Mountains and 74 indoor and 11 outdoor parking stalls.
Lawson Projects was retained by Reidbuilt Homes in mid-2015 to deliver the turnkey project using a Construction Management contract strategy.
