Weadick Bridge
Weadick Bridge – The Calgary Stampede is known for having the best in all things western and ever since 2013 has become known for the “Flood of 2013”; the Weadick bridge on Stampede Park brings both of these together! With Lawson Projects’ help The Stampede installed a new, more durable bridge to replace the blue bridge that was washed away in the 2013 flood. The design took into consideration our western heritage by adding in features such as the height of the “bracing members” on the bridge being high enough above the bridge deck to allow a person on horseback to comfortably pass below the bridge structure!
